EPHATHA DEVELOPMENT CENTER (EDC)

EPHATHA - from the Hebrew word to be awakened, is a center committed to human development – to enabling people live life in full.

The EPHATHA Development Center (EDC) was established to serve as a venue in the process of developing human resources. EDC offers its services and facilities for training and formation, fora, meetings and consultations of various archdiocesan and parochial groups, religious and people’s organizations, line government agencies, local government units and institutions

EDC was also established with the objective of generating financial resources that will contribute in sustaining the operation of the apostolate.

Training and Conferencing
Comparable to first rate centers, EDC has 2 conference halls with a combined sitting capacity of 250 persons; one hall can be converted into 3 conference rooms with a sitting capacity of 20-35 persons each; Two smaller meeting rooms can accommodate confidential and small group discussion for 12-25 persons. All rooms are fully air-conditioned with built in sound system.

Laptops and/or PCs, LCDs, overhead projectors and video equipment can be made available for a fee. A prayer room, guest lounge and bahay kubos (nipa huts) for small group meetings and workshops are also at the disposal of clients and residents.

Lodgings
EDC is fully residential and can accommodate 100 delegates. Ten to 12 persons can be easily accommodated in its fully air-conditined dormitories with communal bath and comfort rooms.

EDC also has three air-conditioned Private Rooms (en suite) which can easily accommodate 2 to 6 people.

Catering Services
While in residence, EPHATHA will treat you to distinct Kapampangan cooking and other delicacies. A wide-range of menu selections are also available to choose from. All food from breakfast to dinner, morning and afternoon snacks are serve in the adjacent Dining Hall unless a different service is required.

EDC also offers outside food catering services that satisfies different occasions and celebrations ranging from 25-300 persons.
