INSTITUTIONAL DIVISIONS

Administrative Division

SACOP Administrative Division (AD) takes charge of human resources, legal services and facilities administration.

AD facilitates the development and management of Human Resources from hiring, professional development and personal growth. The work is primarily focused in enhancing the capability and efficiency of the staff and volunteers aimed at improving their work performance coupled with personal growth and development; establishing parameters to measure and monitor staff performance; and providing timely assistance and response to the pressing needs of the staff within the bounds of policies

All staff training is coordinated by the division based on established training plan

Legal Services involve the provision of legal assistance both internal and external. It ensures that all legal documents required and entered into by the apostolate are in proper order and renewed timely. It also facilitates processing of documents and instruments; and the implementation of program policies as ruled by the court.

Facilities Administration entails the construction, installation, maintainance and/or upgrading of physical properties and facilities of the Apostolate; establishment and maintenance of linkage with other developmental, government and financial institutions; facilitating the flow of timely and accurate communications; and the availability of needed supplies, tools, equipment and fixtures essential in the delivery of programs and services.

Technical Support Services Division

The Technical Support Division (TSD) is the technical backbone of the Apostolate. As such, TSD will continuously gives birth to and follows up the development of new programs and projects; delivers customize technical support services to its various clientele; and works to become the information center on social action in the Archdiocese and the sub-region.

TSD coordinates the development of new programs with the Operations group, prepares applications and project presentations and sources funding, It is also maintains links with national and international project partners through regular updates, reporting and arranging project monitoring visits.

TSD works on a centralized program information and system network. This includes documenting the various activities of the Apostolate, internal and network meetings. TSD also.maintains and trouble shoots both the local area network and internet service. Working across all units and divisions TSD staff also teaches colleagues to become more computer confident and IT open..

TSD also published KABLAS, the Apostolate’s newsletter as well as other SACOP publications, social marketing materials and collateral

TSD also takes the lead role in facilitating the Apsotolate’s annual program review and planning workshops.

Finance Division

The Finance Division supports the implementation of program operations. The division’s work is focused on the refinement of its internal operational systems and procedures, institutionalization of sound internal controls, financial forecasting and budgeting, and proper management of financial resources.

Utilizing the best in accounting software, the division handles the proper accounting, recording and reporting of financial transactions. It safeguards the financial resources of the Apostolate and manages the optimum utilization of funds and generated income. It timely generates accurate financial reports to guide management in decision making.
